Privacy Policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
0hop (0hop.io) is operated by LotusX Technologies Private Limited, India. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use 0hop.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email, phone number, delivery details, shopping preferences, messages, uploaded images and order details. If you sell through 0hop, this can include business, verification and payout details. We also process session cookies and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, we request your basic profile and email information. We store your name, email address and Google account identifier to create or link your 0hop account and sign you in. This sign-in does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or contacts. You can revoke 0hop's access in your Google Account settings; this does not automatically delete your 0hop account.
How we use and share information
We use information to run your account, answer shopping requests, personalise results, process orders, provide support and prevent misuse. Relevant information is shared with providers that operate these features, including hosting, AI processing, email, SMS and payment services, and with sellers or delivery providers where needed to fulfil orders. Your assistant messages and images may be processed by AI providers to answer your requests. Providers may process information outside India. We may also disclose information where required by law. External stores linked from 0hop have their own privacy policies.
Advertising measurement
We use the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel to understand how our ads in ChatGPT perform, and our server reports the same actions to OpenAI, Meta and X directly, such as a new account, a checkout or a payment, with your IP address, browser details and the ad reference from your visit. It sets two cookies on 0hop: __oppref, which keeps the ad reference from the link you arrived by for up to 30 days, and __obref, a random browser reference kept for up to 365 days. Information about your visit, the page address and any actions we measure is sent to OpenAI, and may include your contact details in hashed form. OpenAI may process this information outside India. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser.
We also use the Meta Pixel to understand how our ads on Meta's services perform. It sets two cookies on 0hop: _fbp, a browser reference, and _fbc, which keeps the ad reference from the link you arrived by, each kept for up to 90 days. The page address, your browser's details and any actions we measure, such as the products you viewed or bought and their value, are sent to Meta, and may include your contact details in hashed form. Meta may process this information outside India. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser. We do not send the text of your questions in these events.
We also use the X Pixel to understand how our ads on X perform. It sets three cookies on 0hop: _twclid, which keeps the ad reference from the link you arrived by, _twpid, a browser reference, and _twsid, a session reference, each kept for up to 390 days. The page address, your browser's details and any actions we measure, such as an order's value, are sent to X. X may process this information outside India. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser. We do not send the text of your questions in these events.
How the site is used
We use Microsoft Clarity to see how shoppers use 0hop, so we can improve it. On the home page, in the assistant, on product and store pages and on this page, it records how you move, click and scroll, with the page address and your browser's details, and it sets cookies including _clck and _clsk. The text on those pages is masked, so your questions and the assistant's answers are not recorded. It does not run on sign-in, checkout, order or merchant pages. Microsoft may process this information outside India. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser.
We also use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to measure visits to 0hop. It collects the pages you view, how far you scroll, the links and forms you use, the page address and your browser's details, and it sets cookies including _ga. It does not run on sign-in, search, checkout, order or merchant account pages. Google may process this information outside India. You can clear or block these cookies in your browser.
Retention and your choices
We retain information as needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, security and dispute-resolution requirements. You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information or close your account by emailing khushi@elasticdevs.io. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required for these purposes. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but sign-in may stop working.
